Because the BeatThat! community is made up of the most professional, creative, and tenacious "deal-finders" anywhere! Would you like to join this group - and make some money at the same time? BeatThat! is always looking for new deal-finders - come join the team!

Note that you need to register in order to submit a deal, or vote on a deal, or comment on one. Registration is very easy and involves just a name and email address. To register, you can click on the "register" link at the top of all pages, or even better, when you have a deal you wish to submit, just click the "BeatThat!" button on the product's top deal . . .

The rules for deal submission (so you don’t mess up and give us more work)

  • BeatThat! only approves deals for brand new products (no refurbs, no returns, no demos, no opened boxes, no clones, no “only used once”’s, no “just turned on for a second" . . . you get the idea). For eBay deals you may find that even though the condition is said to be "new," the picture clearly indicates that the box has been opened: Such deals are not approved. Also, for eBay: Evidence that the UPC has been removed will result in rejection of the deal.
  • The product must be in stock and available immediately at the time of submission (availability in a month doesn’t count).
  • Only deals in US dollars ($). (Sorry, no pink 50’s.)
  • Stores must accept credit cards for payment (Western Union isn’t a major credit card).
  • Deals must be for the exact product listed, including variations such as color and model, as shown on the product page (“Blue” is not the same as “Black”). If a camera deal says "body only," then a lens should not be included. Similarly, cameras should not be "packages" that include cases or other accessories.
  • The shipping cost must be given for US Zip Code 64141 (Kansas City, MO — which gives us an “average” idea of the delivery charge).
  • All deals must include delivery to all areas of the contiguous 48 states.
  • All products must be shipped to the home (“ship to store” is not cool).
  • Deals that require shoppers to make an extraneous purchase (such as a subscription, an additional item, a payment program, the forfeiture of their souls, etc., beyond the actual purchase of the item) will not be accepted.
  • Rebates/coupons/discount programs are great! Just make sure that they’re not expired and your calculators are working.
  • All sellers must reside in the United States (We can’t really ask shoppers to learn another language in order to work their purchases).

Rules for the number of deals a BeatThat! member may submit

No more than one deal per color per product per member per day! (This is to prevent a member from submitting a bunch of deals in a row, each one slightly better than the last!)

Ready to submit a deal?

Find a great deal for a product listed on BeatThat!, click the "Beat That" button on that product's page, and follow the instructions! Good luck!

(If you're not sure what color a store is, just go to the BeatThat! Store Lookup page, where you can either look up a store by name, or browse a list of stores by color.)

Some tips for staying in the loop at BeatThat!

  • E-mail notifications: You may subscribe to a number of e-mails that will alert you when new products are added to the site, and when there are "deal opportunities"; the best DealFinders jump on these opportunities to beat the deals of other DealFinders. E-mail settings may be changed through your profile.
  • Forums: Check out our Pro DealFinders Forum. You'll find our "forums" link at the bottom of every page including this one. The Pro DealFinders Forum is where the BeatThat! team clarifies rules and listens to suggestions from DealFinders; DealFinders also share information about deals, products, and stores.
  • Our blog: Another resource to monitor is our blog, where our CEO and the members of our world-wide blogging team pontificate on matters of great and sundry import.
  • Twitter and Facebook: We also tweet our deals at http://twitter.com/beatthat, and on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/pages/BeatThat/69441258496; we would appreciate it if you would follow our tweets and "fan" our Facebook page.
  • RSS feeds: On the home page you can subscribe to our feed of "hand-picked" home page deals, and on product pages you can subscribe to pricing updates.
