• Extended Warranty Not Valid - Out of Business

  I ordered a digital camera from this store 6-2008 and was roped in to the add-ons, plus the extended three year warranty. I received the wrong color. Now, a year later, the camera won't stay charged and is taking all blurry pictures. Tried to look up the extended warranty provider and they are out of business. 86th Street's phone number is out of order as well and their web site is not coming up. What a bummer! Got me for $650 and now I have a camera that I can't get repaired under a warranty I paid for.

  COMPLETE A** HOLES!!!
  CALLED and they were as rude as anyone in business could possibly be. I would buy from them or OnTimeDigital.com. Both are SCAMs and would pay the Good Lord an honest prayer. Stay clear!!!!!!

  Rep assured me item was in stock and ready to ship, a few minutes later I checked order status only to discover the item is actually back ordered. Called company and asked what was going on with the order, the rep told me he didn't understand why I refused to purchase the battery and warranty.
  At that point I knew for sure the company was a scam.

  emailed me & said order was out of stock.called to see if i could get it in another color instead.A rude ass bastard picks up & saids "its not backordered.we just canceled it." i asked,"w/o asking me if i wanted to wait?" he got the nerves to hang up on me.i called back,he picks up again & saids in these exact words,"I SAID IT WAS CANCELED! ARE YOU BORED? DO YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE BETTER TO DO?" i was utterly shocked.it was my 2nd time calling because he hung up on me & he got the nerve to say that!i called back again to complain through their "customer service line", another guy picks up & saids "i apologize,i'll tell him to call you back to say sorry" (& THEN HANGS UP!) they have the worst customer service ever!"86th photo & video" is the same as "cameragiants.com".i called both to check if they have my camera in stock,the same motherfuckers picked up & hangs up on me.bad feeling about their services,so i cancel my card to get a new one. i think they were only after the CC info.

  Ordered a GPS at a good price. Was called to confirm shipping address. Then they tried to add on several high priced items that I didn't want. I declined and they said they would ship the order. I received an email saying the item would be out of stock for 4 to 8 weeks. Scam business. Don't waste your time.

  Any GOOD rating you find for this company is bogus! I was hung up on 3 times by three extremely rude different people when I wouldn't buy any of their VERY high priced accessories. Go to Resellerratings.com to see the full truth about this company and others that are linked with them.

  Just before I ordered from 86th St., the web site said the camera ships in 1-2 days and a live operator confirmed that it was in stock. I then ordered a camera online from 86th St., and they asked me to call to confirm. When I called they hit me up to buy an additional battery. I declined. They said to check back in 3 days for the status of the order. After waiting a while, the operator said the item I wanted was backordered and would be a few weeks. If I wanted to move up to a kit with a battery, they could ship it right away. I cancelled the order. They don't sell what they say is in stock for the price they quote. I wouldn't waste my time with these people.

  Very good company to do business with. Even called to let me know item was back ordered, if I would like to cancel order or wait for order. Either way CC was not charged until item shipped. I would do business with them again!!
