  DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CAMERA GIANTS! I am one of those persons that likes to give people the benefit of the doubt. Against all the negative comments I read about this company I went ahead and order a Navigon Gps from them. Two days later I receive an e-mail saying, ("In order to further verify your order, we will need to speak with you on the phone. Please call our Verification department at 888-900-7468 Ext. 207 Chris") I suspected the sales pitch coming and was not dissapointed by Chris in this regard he not only lied to me but was rude in his remarks I called him a fool he told me to screw myself that is the kind of sales tactics and profesionalism Canera Giants has working for them. After cancelling the order, I called the service department to file a compliant and a certain Jeff answered the phone once I told him I wanted to file a complaint against Chris the sales agent he hung up on me.
  
  My decision is to go ahead and warn others as well as file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.

  This is a bait and switch shop. The sales persons are rude and condescending. You would get a better deal taking the money and setting it on fire and watch it burn.

  Out of stock. They called me on Easter Sunday and tried the hard sell on over priced accessories, battery & memory all of which could be found at a third the cost they are quoting. This outfit is a scam. I'd also warn against a company 86th Street Photo. The web site is amazingly similar to the Camera Giants site. These people SUCK!

  They are scam! Ordered a Canon Powershot SD 780 from them on Mar 31 online because they posted an attractive price. Should have known it's too good to be true! Got an email from them indicating to call back for Kenny. Kenny talked to me in two sentences "Your name?" "It's out of stock". What kind of service is that? No sorry, not feeling shameful for their fraud sale? This is the worst of worst, everyone, be careful! Now I have to keep my eye close to my credit card info, may need to get a new one in case of identity theft...Stronly not recommeded shopping site!

  Ordered a camera on 3/13. Allowed 10 days for delivery. No camera. Per their order tracking, the order was cancelled. No notification of any kind. Called store at 9:15 EST. Spoke with a sales rep, Shonquel, with absolutely no customer service skills. Pat answers re my order "It's cancelled." "Don't stock it." When querried about why no notification sent...was silent...I had to confirm someone was still on the line!!! Absolute worst online store! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  After making a purchase online, I received an email stating I needed to contact the company by phone to verify the order. After talking to a very rude sales person who tried to convince me to buy overpriced accessories, I was told the item was backordered for at least 8 weeks. When I questioned the long delay, I was told the item was over sold and that I probably should just cancel the order, (which I did). Don't buy from this company! They are definately up to something dishonest - I'm sure of it!

  I received an email a few days after placing my order asking to call. I received a sales pitch for accessories that were ridiculously expensive. A week later, I received an email that they were out of stock and I would have to wait 3-4 weeks.

  emailed me & said order was out of stock.called to see if i could get it in another color instead.A rude ass bastard picks up & saids "its not backordered.we just canceled it." i asked,"w/o asking me if i wanted to wait?" he got the nerves to hang up on me.i called back,he picks up again & saids in these exact words,"I SAID IT WAS CANCELED! ARE YOU BORED? DO YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE BETTER TO DO?" i was utterly shocked.it was my 2nd time calling because he hung up on me & he got the nerve to say that!i called back again to complain through their "customer service line", another guy picks up & saids "i apologize,i'll tell him to call you back to say sorry" (& THEN HANGS UP!) they have the worst customer service ever!"cameragiants.com" is the same as "86th photo & video".i called both to check if they have my camera in stock,the same motherfuckers picked up & hangs up on me.bad feeling about their services,so i cancel my card to get a new one. i think they were only after the CC info.

  Horrible. My order was never confirmed and in "backorder" status for over two weeks. When I finally called to see when an approximate ship date was going to be, they rudely said: we're going to cancel your order. We can't get the item in stock anymore. Buyer beware, find another site to make your purchase!

  ordered said it would arrive in 2weeks. called to "confirm" the order tried to sell me more items incl. batteries, warranty, etc. etc. went on line to check and now it is backordered. sent e-mail with no reply. I cancelled order

  Buyer beware.
  
  Your excellent price find might turn into a nightmare, similar to shopping for a new or used car.
  
  After being subjected to a "bait and switch" type advertising scheme by Camera Giants, my suggestion is to stay away from them, at all costs.
  
  Do your business with folks that have a good reputation, even if they might charge a tad bit more.
