    Made order, great price, received auto-generated email, I called 48 hrs later, confirmed it was processed. Received email saying it will be shipped by shady A&B trucking from NYC. Have been told it will take 14 days and the company wont give a tracking No.? They tried to upsale and add stuff the whole time, thats what salesmen do, 'eh guido? Just tell them no! They do sound shifty, Ill change my rating later if it works out, if not, Ill add another one.

    Do not order from this company! I have never experienced customer service this TERRIBLE. Do not fall for the scam of paying for faster delivery! I had to drive to the warehouse that my appliance was delivered to & pick it up myself. This was a 100 mile trip. I called for a refund for my delivery charge many times & got nowhere. Order somewhere else!!

    As a couple of the other reviewers, I have read through the reviews and made HomeGoodz aware that I would leave a review upon completion of my transaction. They came through. The prices are unbelievable, the item was delivered on time and without problems. Kudos! I have also noticed that many of the "red" reviews are from the same users and don't provide any insight as to their experience with this store. Just something to take into consideration. Anyway, keep up the good work and I look forward to my next transaction with your company!

    I bought a LED TV that had no visible signes ofBiox trauma.
    When I opened the box I found the screened was cracked
    2 monthes later and 100 phone calls the offered me $500 for a $1700 unit
    Look on the internet this has happened to many people
    This is a big scam ring

    I was a bit nervous buying a LCD TV over the Internet and sending a Postal Money Order for payment. The TV had to be shipped from New York to California. There was a "time frame" after the store had received my Money Order that I did not hear from them in reference to shipping my TV. I found the lack of communication a bit stressful. I ended up calling the store because I was not getting any E-mail replies when I would ask about the "shipping". Finally, The TV got shipped to California and was sitting at the truck company's locked up bay. The shipping company was having a Hissy Fit about delivering the TV to my Area,(Rural mountain town). I oppted to go and pick up the TV from the trucking company. The TV was received in an undamaged box and was taken well care of. It was a great buy for this "refurbished" TV by Sharp. I still feel that I got my money's worth but the communication between customer and merchant needs a definite improvement

    I was a little wary about this company after reading some of the previous reviews--and I did not hide this from them.

    The representative I talked to, John, delivered on every point he promised. The Toshiba TV I ordered was shipped the day I placed my order, and arrived 2 days early, including the upgraded bonus gift.

    Just keep in mind that this is a vast country, and what is called "constructive criticism" in New York is called "yelling" in the South.

    Would not hesitate shopping with them again.

    HomeGoodz has offered a cash settlement of $500 or a $1,000 credit against a new TV. I had paid $2,368 for a 58" Samsung Plasma TV. TV shipped free with D. B. Schenker and was received with concealed defects.

    There are two layers of glass on the screen. The front piece is OK. But the piece behind it is cracked.

    On Dec. 25, 2009, (my wife's Christmas present) we removed the box top. My two son-in-laws lifted the TV onto the floor from the box "bottom". I served as a third person to lift the plastic cover off the TV and the two Styrofoam blocks from the bottom of the TV as it was held up. The whole process was done with the utmost care. The TV was plugged in. Immediately the six of us noticed the loud buzz. There was no picture. After about 5 minutes, my son-in-law noticed small cracks within the TV behind the front piece of glass. So we powered the TV down.

    on dec 2009, i went online to homegoodz site. i ordered the ( lowestprice i could find for this item) item with free shipping and i had a promo code that took $10,00 off. a few days later received a call from Jim, to call him. i did not but then i was emailed by jim (homegoodz) to call him about my order. This made my hair stand up when i read the attachment. which (Changed the price from the internet price higher and changed my order number) so i took action, i emailed Jim to cancel my order ( i do not play bait and switch games) and to NOT charge my card. i also notified my credit card company to not allow this company to charge my card. BEWARE of Homegoodz. stay with known company even he price is alittle higher

    I ordered a Pentax Optio E80 digital camera, two SD cards, one 3 year Extended Warranty, one Memory card reader and eight AA batteries. Andy, the sales representative, was very polite, friendly, patient and professional. I chose the free shipping option which had a transit time of 7 to 10 business days.     First off I was VERY hesitant to buy from this company after I read all the reviews at various sites. I even called up and spoke to Dan to express my uneasiness. He promised I would love my Samsung 50 inch plasma TV. I also promised him if TV arrived in perfect condition and with USA warranties that I would write a review. So here it is Dan. Great TV, perfect condition and arrived in very reasonable time frame. I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a great deal on electronics.     Ordered TV online. Got call within 4 hours thanking me. Said "TV was in stock & would be shipped that night". Next attempted to sell me Insurance & Extended warrantys ( lowered price each time I declined). Next informed me, "Would have to change shipping from Ground to Trucking (extra 5-10 days). For a week, Web Site order status, "Processing", never changed. Sent 3 E-Mails requesting an Update. No replys. Sent CANCEL ORDER E-Mail & got "Slight Back Order" reply. Next CANCEL E-Mail got "E-Mail Cancellations Not Accepted. Call Customer Service". Continued E-Mails. ie. CANCEL ORDER WILL NOT ACCEPT CHARGES OR MERCHANDISE. Web Site order status finally changed to "Order Cancelled". Took several days. Bet if ya pay a few hundred for all Insurance/Warrantys you will get Great Service. Otherwise ????

    These guys lie to get a sale. They call you to"verify" your order and send the whole time trying to get to upgrade shipping or buy other stuff. Tell you an item is in stock and when you check later they tell you don't have any. Stay away from this group!

    They are total ripoffs. I tried to buy a 52" LCT TV. Paid for it and all, then they began calling me trying to sell me a wall mount and an extended warranty. They said if I bought the warranty that my shipment would be expedited, if not it would take 7-14 days and they could not give me a tracking number nor shipper. This was 1.5 weeks after ordering what was according to web site "in stock" They sound and act like crooks... Dont order from these american wanna-be's

    I ordered a tv last week from these guys and it still has not shipped. Horrible customer service. Any problems with the order, they act like its your fault. Stay away from this company. I have never wrote a negative review about online shopping so this is my first. STAY AWAY!!! Even though they are cheap you get what you pay for. Its worth paying a little more to have the ordering and shipping process run smoothly. Not at homegoodz. Never again will I buy from these people.

    I worked too good a deal on a Samsung 63B550 TV. So, they just sat on the order. When I called a week later, they said it was backordered. I then called again without identifying myself and asked if any were on hand, and the same guy said they had 3 in stock. Deceptive in how they bait you with free shipping, but then tell you it costs $99.00, they give you a discount and then it doesn’t show up on your verification form, they tell you its backordered and then say they have 3 in stock. Could say much more, but out of space. Watch out with this seller!!!

    They are theifs! took 2 weeks to get my order and it was broken when it arrived, I refused the washer/dryer and was told it would be returned at once...4 days later it still has not been sent to HomeGoodz because they have not called the shipping company and they will not refund my money...I'm out over $700! I've placed over 10 calls to them and everytime told a different story...so not only thiefs but liars too!

    They don't carry the products. I called two days after placing the order and I was told my order is "drop" shipped so they dont have a tracking number. Waited for two more weeks and the product did not arrive. Called again and I was told they will not know when the product will be shipped. Yes, I cancelled my order. Just waste of time.

    They listed a CVS833C sounder as in stocked. Knowing the item had be recently discontinued from SITEX, I called their 800 number to check their stock. The person that answer said "Oh yes we have it in stock". I actually asked the question again and the person assured me that they had this item on hand and that they are aware this item was discontinued from Sitex. So I ordered it online. 3 days later I checked on the order and received an email saying the item was backordered and no ETA. In the meantime I had ordered other part for this unit and will need to cancel them.

    Got my Fuji F200EXR within just 3 days of ordering!
    Paid 289.00 for this awesome camera that is now selling for over 330.00 on their websight!
    They did send me a European plug but an American adapter is only a couple of bucks!
    No biggie.
    Still gotta a killer deal and now when I ever go to Europe I wont have a problem charging the battery!

    Singh was true to his word about how fast I would recieve my camera!
