  I bought a flash from them online and I called on Monday morning to confirm the order and roger started telling me what I ordered was wrong and I needed to go another model instead for approx $100.00 dollars more and I told him I couldn’t afford that I was disabled in a wheelchair on oxygen and only get a certain amount of money every month and the final outcome was he asked if I could afford an additional $40.00 dollars and I said let’s do it right now then. Well the final outcome was after I received my new flash I was charged the $100.00 any way and I was fuming and called them to complain and I was told I needed to speak to customer service and when customer service asked what I needed I started to explain and I was put on hold and no one ever came back I was just left ton hold. I was supposed to be charged $189.95 plus the additional $40.00 which would have been $229.95. I was charged $60.00 and they will not refund me my money back.   Placed order, they called, man tried to sell me more expensive products. When I refused and said I just wanted what I ordered, he said my order is cancelled and hung up. Terrible store. Should be run out of business by attorney generals office.

  RUNNN.. do not give them your card. at first the deal will sound great and they will ask for you credit card# then they will B.S. you with other products until you decline to purchase and tell you to pay a $200.00 cancelation fee. This store is pure BULL CRAP. stay away.

  I have ordered a digital camera in May attracted by cheap price. I rejected overpriced accessories offered to me at the order confirmation stage. Well, now in September I am still waiting for my order. I guess, it will never come. But they have my credit card number and personal info.

  I ordered the Nikon d90 and yes it was a bait and switch,HOWEVER, I still got a better deal and my full order came to me in 3 days. Lucky? maybe but I'm satisfied. Alan is RUDE but the others I talked with were all right.

  DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I wrote to the Best Business Bureau and the Attorney General because of my horrific ordeal. In the end the Attorney General's office told me that the company will uphold their price on the G10 camera for $200 and all it's contents if we would call them and place another order. NO THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  
  It would take me three pages to describe what I went through. Basically everything everyone has written has happened to me and more. False advertisement, illegal business practices, rude customer service.
  
  I will however tell you that there seems to be a connection between this company and several other companies with the same profile. The stores seem to all be located near Brooklyn, NY; or if they are not their P.O. Box is in NY. We ran into this problem with three online stores, and when we checked the Best Business Bureau all their address were Brooklyn, NY.

  This is a horrible store. I bought a digital camera from them without the lithium battery or charger, which is illegal to begin with since this camera came with those items from the factory-they take out the battery and charger and try to sell them to you seperately. If you don't buy them, they make you cancel your order.

  Called before placing an order, rep (or whoever pretends one) confirmed that item is in stock, but refused to accept order over the phone. I placed it online and, of course, provided my credit card info. The following day order was marked as "Backordered" and then "Cancelled" . They are just fishing for your credit card. STAY AWAY!!!

  One sign of their problems is that their about page (stopandshopdigital.com/abou...  says that they are "secured by Thawte." But their SSL certificate is from usertrust.com. Also, the about page has language that is used on many other sites: Hardly seems to be their own.
