    Pros: Portable, easy to use, even runs office and can multi-task. I'd use a copy of XP that's been "lited" but I found this machine a little cracker and it's my preferred machine to use on the move. Buy the Linux one and then stick XP on it.
    Cons: You won't be playing any 3D games on it but then again that's not why you buy a machine like this.
    Summary: The Acer looks fantastic. Works really well and is relatively quiet. The Track pad is a little small, so buy a separate laser mouse. I use this machine all the time when I'm travelling and it happily runs office or my music. Indeed I pair this with a Logitech Squeezebox in the house and it streams my MP3's to that wonderfully well.

    Quality construction. Doesn't look or feel flimsy. Brushed finish is much nicer than the other plastic netbooks that seem to be fingerprint collectors. I love the color. Good wireless reception. The keyboard feels ok. Takes some getting used to, but much better than I had anticipated.

  • Acer Aspire One AOD250-1706 is perfect! I bought the same brand with the smaller battery locally and decided that I preferred the longer battery time. I am getting right at 8 hours per charge. It's perfect for surfing the web, doing face book, email, etc. I have loaded open office and my zune stuff on here so I can watch movies and listen to my music. Yeah, the keyboard is small but when you get a netbook you expect that don't you? The bluetooth is nice - I have used it a couple of times and the webcam isn't bad. The wifi picked up my home network immediately with no issues. It will be nice to travel with this little guy.
